BRIEF: Pa. Dept. of Health tips on recognizing Alzheimer's disease

Morning Call - 6/11/2018

June 11--The Pennsylvania Department of Health sent out a reminder about the signs and symptoms of Alzheimer's disease Monday morning.

The item, posted to the department's twitter page, features 10 early signs and symptoms of the disease.

Alzheimer's disease is the most common form of dementia, according to the Centers for Disease Control.

The CDC says that as of 2013, 5 million Americans were suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Symptoms can begin appearing after age 60. By 2050, experts predict the number of Americans with Alzheimer's will triple.
